Woven: Fall Bible Study
The Seeking Him study by Nancy Leigh DeMoss is being moved from Wednesday mornings to Tuesday nights. We would like to have you reconsider joining us. We will be starting from the beginning on Tuesday, October 19th so you have a chance to dive in and not miss a thing. This is a wonderful study on personal revival and reconnecting with the heart of God. Join us Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 pm at the church office. Workbooks are $12.00
Christmas Cruisin'
Are you stressed just thinking of the holiday rush? Join our e-mail group and “cruise” through Christmas! Learn organizational tips and ways to simplify the holidays. Discover ways to bring Christ back into Christmas. We will share gift giving ideas, great sales (online and local stores), coupons, easy recipes, unique traditions and ways to help you relax so you can enjoy your family and friends and focus on the real reason for the season when December arrives.
The “goal” for Christmas Cruisin’ is to be finished with all of your preparations by December 1st (shopping, wrapping, decorating, cards, etc.). We will have a kick-off and information meeting on Tuesday, October 19th at 7 pm at the home of Becky Haynes, your official “Cruise Director.” You will receive 4 e-mails a week from her, with goals and ideas for the week to keep you on track. As a group, we will also e-mail each other as we share ideas, sales we run across, etc. Cruising officially begins, Monday, November 1st.
November will be a busy month, but receiving support and encouragement from other women is wonderful! If you are interested in joining, please give us your name and e-mail address at the Woven table or e-mail Becky. Friends who do not attend FBC are welcome also.
